A few high school speech teams in the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area were recently nominated for the Iowa High School Speech Association All-State Large Group.
Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School received the designation for its One Act called “The Yellow Boat.” Panorama High School’s Ensemble Acting entry of “Swipe Left” was also nominated for all-state. Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn high schools each got a group improvisation entry nominated for all-state as well.
Each entry that was selected for all-state had to be nominated by the judges from the state contest. Due to the pandemic, there will not be an all-state festival.
